The final stage of the Indigo Young Scientist Competition will take place during the EU-India STI Cooperation Days. Young European and Indian researchers will present their project ideas in short videos and compete to become the INDIGO Young Scientist 2016.

CSIR- National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) is a premier marine science research institute and one of the 37 constituent laboratories of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). Established on 1 January 1966, the institute conducts research in four traditional branches of oceanography - biology, chemistry, physics and geology &geophysics, besides ocean engineering, marine instrumentation and archaeology. The institute also provides services to industry as well as opportunities for human resource development in the form of academic, training and internship programs.
